Black and Yellow....Black and Yellow

This blog post was inspired by the recent rap song "black and yellow" by Wiz Khalifa........the song reminded me that this color combination is not only suitable for Rappers but offers quite a classic decor color scheme for weddings, parties or other events.

The color combination is fresh, clean and bright........the yellow brings a burst of sunshine and just makes me happy, while the black and white elements offer a clean and sleek backdrop against which the yellow gloriously POPS!!

BBE SHOP - Uchumi Lang'ata..........(we are expanding!)

So we finally launched our shop at Uchumi Lang'ata in September 2010. We have really enjoyed having such an open space where we can interact with new and returning customers. Our shop is full of variety, featuring our selection of wedding gowns, bridal accessories, evening/bridesmaid dresses, jewelry, shoes. We have so much to offer that we are glad to be expanding our floor space in the weeks to come, so that we can fully display all our exquisite items, and you our customers can have more room to explore our shop. We at BBE love to throw parties, which is great because that's our profession :) . From time to time, the party happens to be for one of us or for close friends and family. We recently threw a small party to celebrate my (Sally) graduation.

My favorite color is Burgundy so that was the main color, and we accented it with some Orange just to make it bright and festive!! For the bar we went with White and Fuschia (pink) just to have something a little different. Here are some of the pictures from this fun party.
